We enjoyed our visit to Seattle, with good friends, great times was had by all. Here we are at our last day, Pike Place Market...by the piggy.

In a few days, we are going to Seattle, to enjoy the company of a dear friend and the beauty of rainy Seattle fall. Today, I had not felt well, and I was hopeful that things would be better. Too much stress at work, too much worry and too much anxiety have led me to not feeling well.

I wasn't feeling stellar today. What cheered me up was a video by my brother, Sixth Sense, a video about the fluid movement and love that animals give out. Then....my day went better.

About half a month ago, we helped rescue a beautiful German Shephard puppy from the Irving Texas shelter. Amadeus was at home with us for a day, until we were able to make arrangements to have him placed at Camp Wolfgang, with our friend Wally. Camp Wolfgang is a very serene and wonderful facility for dogs, mostly German Shephards. From there, they get to be adopted, after they have overcome the traume of being either abandonded by their owners, lost a home, or just plainly been found wandering the streets.

Amadeus seemed to start off really well, but was diagnosed with distemper about a week ago. He had distemper when he came over to Camp Wolfgang. Now that I think of it, the people at the Irving shelter told me when I was picking Amadeus up that "they didn't even think about vaccinating him". He was a sweet little puppy, not older than 3 months, which is what caused him to die in the end. If he wasn't vaccinated to start with, he must have contracted distemper at the shelter.

I can't believe how people's disregard for animal life and their utter disrespect for him livelihood has caused little Amadeus to die today.

Please say a prayer for this beautiful dog, full of life and love, and let's pray together his memory will remain a beacon of love and hope for others.
