Song, Oh How Strong

Posted on Apr 10th, 2006 by Harmony : Delight Harmony

Our friend Maria Daines lives and works in the United States, but she lends her vocal cords to give a voice to animals. She is amazing, smart, and beautiful. Click here to hear her latest creation.

This song is about small creatures that become coats in all countries across the world in the name of profit. It was inspired by the work of Mary-Alice Pollard, Cornwall's Voice For Animals, in UK. She is happy for it to be downloaded and shared to highlight the work of 'Musicians Against The Fur Trade'.

POWER-FULL words!

>>Oh I have no voice
Oh I have no name
Just a wretched piece of meat
Drowning in vain
Oh speak for me now
Oh please hear my plea..
Oh don't, don't, don't, don't turn your back on me…<<

The song is very emotional….graphic, too. Hope more people listen to it.
Thanx for sharing this!
