Horse Billboard

Posted on Jun 12th, 2006 by Harmony : Delight Harmony
Our friends decided to take up a huge billboard off I-40 to show what is going on with horse slaughter. It is relatively easy to dismiss the fact that our American horses become food on tables, instead of prized friends and companions.

Perfect placement of that billoard. Great for them! If I am remembering correctly, the AQHA- Home of the American Quarter Horse Association (whom happen to endorse horse slaughter) headquarters are located near there. Many of us AQHA members don't endorse slaughter and are working to sway AQHA to look at other alternatives to it. This will certainly get some attention.

Thanks for sharing Harmony and for always being proactive for the animals.

Are you accepting donations to help with the cost of the billboard?

I'm impressed with the can-do attitude– you could and you did!

BRAVO!

Lindsey, your comment and compassion are so appreciated. I loved being able to see the billboard do some good, especially since the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act is being voted on so closely. If you would, call your Congressman to support the act. That is all you can do. The billboard was put up by a Horse Protection group, not me personally. I co-created with them. Thank you. Harmony
